Trans East Airlines Captain Wing
Bangor, Maine 1967-1968

Trans East Airlines flew DHC-6, the Twin Otter, started as a fixed base opeerator. The airline flew mostly between New York and Bangor with intermediate stops. In 1969 it name changed to Trans East International Airlines which shut down in 1972. An interesting side light is that because the Twin Otter had such little headroom, the Flight Attendants hired were no more than 5 feet tall.
